In short, no — a Managed Portfolio is not the same as a KiwiSaver or managed fund. While both may hold similar assets, there are three key differences:
Personalisation — Managed funds are one-size-fits-all, but a Managed Portfolio is built around your unique goals, risk profile, and preferences.
Control — In a fund, decisions are made by a central team with no input from you. With a Managed Portfolio, your adviser guides you while you retain the final say on companies or industries included.
Flexibility — Managed funds only allow buying or selling units in the fund. A Managed Portfolio lets us act strategically, buying or selling individual securities at the right time

Account details requiring security checking will need to be supported by original or certified copies as proof. For example a deposit slip for bank account changes or marriage certificate for name changes. These will need to be sent to the office along with the signed request.
