February saw a number of investors join us at the Montreal Hotel for a presentation from Marcus Driller, Vice President Corporate from Fisher and Paykel Healthcare Ltd. Marcus took us through their corporate ambitions and reported on what has been a highly successful couple of years for the company as demand for their respiratory devices skyrocketed on the back of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fisher and Paykel Healthcare produces several products, including equipment that helps to heat and humidify oxygen administered to those with breathing difficulties. Their products have been helpful for individuals suffering from COVID-19, along with being beneficial for those suffering from Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Their equipment is compatible with all existing ventilators and they dominate the market in their sector. With production facilities in Auckland, Mexico and China, strong growth ambitions and a constant flow of new developments, we were highly impressed with their continuing success.

Feedback from the attendees was very positive and many of the attendees indicated interest in including or adding to their positions in the company. Fisher and Paykel Healthcare Ltd are a company where we see value and we would be happy to discuss including it in your portfolio where appropriate.
