What happened to markets in October? Richard Parkin discusses the major market returns during October and across 2023 so far.

There are several headwinds as we know and the escalation of tensions in the Middle East have created further uncertainties. Inflation however is showing signs of slipping and that brings about the possibility of rate cuts although perhaps not for a while yet.

For Christchurch based clients we have Skellerup visiting on the 24th November to provide a company update. The event is taking place at 10.30am at the Novotel in Christchurch Central (opposite the Cathedral) and we have a limited number of places remaining so book early to avoid disappointment!

As always if you have any questions or queries, do get in touch with myself or your adviser here at Hamilton Hindin Greene and we’ll be happy to assist.
